Blessings to you! At the First United Methodist Church in Lodi, we believe in God, Creator of the world; and in Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of creation. We believe in the Holy Spirit, through whom we acknowledge God’s gifts, and we repent of our sin in misusing these gifts to idolatrous ends. We affirm the natural world as God’s handiwork and dedicate ourselves to its preservation, enhancement, and faithful use by humankind.

The mission of First United Methodist Church is simple: To follow the teachings of Christ to guide the use of our gifts and talents to meet the needs of our community and our world, and to help change lives, here in our church community and around the world, for the better.

We offer one Sunday worship service, as well as Sunday School programs for children and adults, a dynamic youth program, a highly-regarded Preschool, and activities for groups of all ages.

If a wedding is in your future, you may wish to contact our wedding coordinator for a consultation. Of course, you are always welcome to visit during office hours, or during one of our worship services, to see the church.
