Sacramento Street Ministry

Sacramento Street Ministry
Sacramento Street Ministry is a faith-based ministry connecting with people in need, and/or people seeking a home. On the third Sunday of each month a full breakfast and a sack lunch are prepared and transported to the Hope Harbor Salvation Army Shelter where an average of 80 individuals are served. Father’s Day is honored with a pair of socks for everyone. At Christmas gloves and scarves are provided to everyone. In addition to the kitchen crew who cook the breakfast, the youth in the church prepare the lunches and serve the food.

Youth and counselors serve the elderly, poor and marginalized in Native American communities, rural communities, and urban areas. Service is offered without strings attached, and is done with an attitude of respect and humility. Our youth have participated since 2011.
