The mission of the Youth Ministry is to welcome, nurture, cultivate all youth as Christian disciples with a passion to serve God and their community. Youth programs serve youth in grades 6-12.
Youth attend worship for the first part. Following the Word for Young Disciples, Junior High and Senior High attend Sunday school classes. During the summer, the two classes are combined.
Youth Group generally meets on the second and fourth Sunday evenings of each month. The gathering includes songs, games, a program, and dinner. Other events during the year include service projects and special trips such as ice skating or bowling.

SSP enables youth to build faith and strengthen communities through service to others. Youth and counselors serve the elderly, poor and marginalized in Native American communities, rural communities, and urban areas. Service is offered without strings attached, and is done with an attitude of respect and humility. Our youth have participated since 2011, serving in Susanville, Smith River, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
